Ask for evidence tied to the actual card
Ask the seller for the exact board model, serial information where appropriate, purchase history, modifications, and the return policy. Stock photographs and generic benchmark screenshots cannot establish the condition of the unit you will receive.
Prior use alone does not tell you whether a card is healthy. Testing under a sustained memory-heavy workload provides more useful evidence than an idle desktop screenshot.
- Inspect power connectors, the cooler, fans and visible board damage.
- Confirm the reported VRAM capacity and exact GPU model.
- Run a sustained workload and check errors, crashes, throttling and fan behavior.
- Record the ambient conditions and test configuration.
Make sure it fits your machine
Check the exact board dimensions against your case and adjacent slots. Board-partner cards can differ from the Founders Edition. Verify the required power connectors and the manufacturer’s supply recommendation for that model.
The reference graphics-card power rating is 350 W. Your CPU and the rest of the system add to that load. A cheap card that requires a different case, power supply and cooling system can be an expensive upgrade.
Price is a fresh observation, not a permanent fact
Compare completed sales for the same condition and model, include shipping and buyer protections, and check alternatives in your region. The planner does not carry forward the old site’s unverified used-market prices.
Before purchasing, run your target model and context through the calculator. A 24 GiB card may still need lower precision or a shorter conversation for a 32B-class model. Leave room for runtime variation and other GPU use.
